Dr. Carlo Banfi, MD, PhD, FCCP, is a Senior Cardiac Surgeon at Geneva University Hospitals, where he leads the ECMO and Mechanical Circulatory Support Heart Failure Program. He earned his PhD in Physiopathology of Cardiothoracic Surgery from the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, Italy. A member of multiple esteemed societies, including the French College of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery, Dr. Banfi has authored over 100 peer-reviewed publications. He also serves as Associate Editor for BMC Surgery and SpringerPlus Medicine and frequently lectures at international cardiovascular conferences

Dr. Wei Liu is an Associate Professor at Harbin Medical University, where she earned her PhD in 2006. She completed a postdoctoral fellowship in the Department of Pathology (2009–2010) and has served as Chief of the Coronary Heart Disease Unit. Dr. Liu is actively involved in academic leadership and research, having authored ten research articles and books. She contributes as an editorial board member for respected journals including the Chinese Clinical Doctor Journal. She is also a dedicated member of the Chinese Medical Association, with expertise in cardiovascular pathology and clinical cardiology.

Dr. Robert Skalik, MD, PhD, is a renowned consultant cardiologist and exercise physiologist. He formerly directed the Department of Cardiac Rehabilitation at Saint John Paul II Specialist Hospital in Wrocław, Poland, and currently teaches at the Medical University of Wrocław. Dr. Skalik also serves as a consulting cardiologist at Specialist Hospital "Ventriculus" and PZU Health Centre. With training in Amsterdam and prior academic roles in Italy, he specializes in general cardiology, cardiac rehabilitation, cardiovascular imaging, and sports cardiology. He is an Elected Fellow of the Royal Society of Medicine, UK.

Dr. Tarek Bishay is a distinguished Professor of Cardiology at the National Heart Institute, Egypt. Holding a Doctorate in Cardiology, he is an expert in Clinical Cardiology and Echocardiography, with a strong focus on Transesophageal Echocardiography (TEE). A pioneer in TEE application in Egypt, he also received advanced 3D Echocardiography training in Italy. Dr. Bishay has contributed significantly to the field with over 30 national and international publications. He is an active member of the European Cardiology Society and the European Association of Cardiovascular Imaging (EACVI).
