Wilbert S. Aronow, MD, is a physician, educator and cardiovascular researcher affiliated with Westchester Medical Center and New York Medical College. He serves as a Clinical Professor of Medicine and leads the Cardiology Clinic, while also supporting residency and fellowship training as a research mentor. He earned his medical degree from Harvard Medical School and has contributed extensively to clinical research, academic medicine and medical publishing.

Dan Sorescu, MD, earned his medical degree from Carol Davila University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Bucharest, Romania. He completed his Internal Medicine residency at Beth Israel Hospital and his Clinical Cardiology fellowship at Emory University School of Medicine. His research training focused on vascular biology, oxidative stress and NADPH oxidases in coronary artery disease. He has held academic positions at Emory University and has contributed to cardiovascular research, particularly in heart failure and cardiac function assessment.

His research focuses on the role of oxidative stress, the renin–angiotensin–aldosterone system and transforming growth factor-beta in the development of cardiac hypertrophy, fibrosis and heart failure, with additional interests in tachycardia and cardiac dysfunction.

Dr. Dan Sorescu, MD, is a cardiovascular researcher and academic physician trained at Carol Davila University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Beth Israel Hospital, and Emory University School of Medicine. His academic work focuses on vascular biology, oxidative stress, and cardiovascular disease, with particular contributions to research on heart failure and cardiac function

His research focuses on the mechanisms underlying cardiac hypertrophy, fibrosis, and heart failure, particularly the roles of oxidative stress, RAAS, and TGF-β. He also has interests in tachycardia and cardiac dysfunction.

Dr. Emre Yalcinkaya, born in Ankara, Turkey, in 1982, graduated from Gülhane Military Medical Academy in 2006. He served as a Cardiology Specialist and faculty member at the academy for four years. He currently serves at Aksaz Military Hospital as Chief of the Cardiology Unit and a Grade A Consultant Cardiologist.

His research interests include cardiac imaging, cardiomyopathy, arrhythmia, coronary artery disease, heart failure, peripheral artery disease, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, diabetes, and obesity.

Dr. Sunil Sharma joined Thomas Jefferson University/Hospital in 2013 and has extensive experience in pulmonary, critical care, and sleep medicine. He completed his medical education in India, followed by residency and fellowship training in the United States. His clinical expertise includes sleep disorders, pulmonary hypertension, complex respiratory conditions, and sleep study interpretation. He is also actively involved in medical education, clinical training, and continuing medical education programs

His research interests include sleep disorders, sleep medicine, pulmonary medicine, and critical care medicine.

Dr. Lavanya Bellumkonda is an Assistant Professor of Medicine (Cardiology) at Yale School of Medicine and specializes in cardiovascular medicine. She has received several academic and teaching honors, including recognition for excellence in clinical education and ambulatory care.

Her research interests include cardiovascular medicine, double aortic arch, and heart failure.

Dr. S. Wamique Yusuf is an Associate Professor of Medicine at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. He received his medical education at Dow Medical College in Karachi and later completed his Internal Medicine training in the United Kingdom. His academic and clinical background includes work in cardiology, heart failure, and cardiovascular complications in patients with cancer. He is a member of the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland and a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology.

His research primarily focuses on cardiovascular care in oncology patients, with additional interest in tachycardia and heart failure-related cardiovascular conditions.
